Project DUALITY is one of the outstanding projects granted the London 2012 Inspire mark, the badge of the London 2012 Inspire programme, which recognises exceptional and innovative projects inspired by the 2012 Games.
DUALITY is a digital dance work / performance platform with community engagement designed to highlight the importance of talent residing outside of the London Hub by providing arts based workshops and a performance platform as part of the 2012 Celebrations.
The London 2012 Inspire programme recognises innovative and exceptional projects that are directly inspired by the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

SEEKING AN MANAGER / ADMINSTRATOR
Pair Dance Creative Learning is seeking an Manager / Administrator who is responsible for our Outreach within the local and wider region of Hertfordshire and ensuring that specific policies and procedures in relation to our weekend project are adhered to. Creative Learning works in partnership with Community Action Hertsmere, Hertfordshire Community Foundation and Hertsmere Borough Council. We are looking for an experienced manager / administrator who is proficient on Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word and who will administer and develop are Creative Learning programme. You must be an excellent communicator with the ability to manage your own time and work to strict deadlines. This role is part – time (3 days a week) based at Work Net Borehamwood until February 2013.
Desirable:
Willing to undergo Child Protection Awareness Training
Be proficient in Microsoft outlook, Excel, Word and Book keeping
Essential:

Role Description:
Provide a full range of administrative services to support and enhance the efficiency, effectiveness and development of Pair Dance Creative Learning programme. Develop partnerships with local and regional organisations whilst directly supporting and administering regular young people's advisory and steering group meetings. Provide a pro-active studio and office base communication / verbal links to the local parents, community and young people. Act as a contact for Young people interested in leading workshops and classes whilst managing tutors, volunteers and partner organisations within Hertfordshire.
Promote and comply with legislation of all equal opportunities, child protection and health and safety both in the delivery of services and the treatment of others.
Be willing to identify and undertake training and personal development to meet the roles and responsibilities of the post.
To fulfill, on occasions, other duties which may be required to be undertaken in order to meet the project needs.
Desirable:
Project management skills, experience working as an administrator within the Creative Sector

AUDITION - DUALITY 2012
Choreographer Harriet Macauley is seeking 4 male and 2 female dancers to perform new Digital Dance work ‘Duality’
Audition by invitation only.
The audition is held in London.
Performances will take place nationally and internationally from May 2012
Performers should have a minimum of 3 years professional performance experience, strong contact / floor work skills, be highly motivated, committed and versatile.
Strong contemporary / ballet technique is essential.
Performers must be available to work in the UK without requiring a work permit.
The auditions will take place on:
Saturday 25th February 11.00 – 5.00
Sunday 26th February 11.00 – 5.00 (recall)
You should be available for both days.

Project Duality is one of the outstanding projects granted the London 2012 Inspire mark, the badge of the London 2012 Inspire programme, which recognises exceptional and innovative projects inspired by the 2012 Games.
In the summer of 2012, the UK will come alive with the Olympic and Paralympic Games. Our four-year Cultural Olympiad will reach a climax when the London 2012 Festival starts on 21 June 2012, followed by the Olympic Games Opening Ceremony on 27 July. For the first time, both the Olympic and Paralympic Games have been planned together from the very beginning. By thinking about the needs of both Olympic and Paralympic athletes and spectators at each point in our plans, we hope to create the best possible Games experience for everyone.
The Inspire programme is run by the London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games. It is an opportunity for everyone to be a part of the London 2012 Games – a broad participation programme spanning sport participation, education, sustainability, volunteering, and business opportunities & culture. New opportunities are being created to inspire young people and encourage the whole of the UK to join in. The Inspire programme has awarded over 1,400 different projects the Inspire mark.
